About A Thousand Shall Fall
Formed in 2011, A Thousand Shall Fall took shape and form on a dark and stormy evening in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Original members Jesse, Daniel, Dhruva, Kevin, and Gena began writing music together in an asbestos-laden garage just outside of town. Descending up on the live music scene with a unique live sound and unstoppable energy, ATSF quickly established themselves as an act to behold. Their first release, In the Shadow of the Mighty came mid-2013. A 4 song thematic EP describing the complete destruction of Planet Earth. INSOTM was followed by Horizon in 2014. Continuing the storyline, Horizon describes the aftermath of destruction and the desolation, the isolation of complete nothingness. In late 2015 Jesse Williams left the band to pursue alternative ventures in music while. Gena soon followed in early 2016. After a shakeup, Koryun Bobikyan and Dhruva's brother Vyasa Noel joined the band to round out their current lineup. With new members and direction solidified, ATSF is poised for their third release entitled "Perennial". Appropriately, Perennial describes the struggle of regrowth following destruction and isolation. With 2016 nearly under wraps, 2017 promises to be ATSF's best year yet. We aim to bring an intense in your face brand of metal to everyone!
