I am 32 yrs old ...Seeking God's best for my life. I am a proud father of a son as well as 2 daughters. I have gone through many trials in the past 10 years and realized I have tried to live my life by my own dreams and goals and realize that I suck at playing God. When you give up your life, you end up finding it. It is not about how much you get knocked down, it's about how many times you get back up and keep moving forward. I am richly blessed with friends who deeply care and love on me when I so dearly need it. I am finding more and more how what we think is God's will may not be when we match it up with His Word. How can we ask for what His will is for us but not yet open His Word. I am seeking to ignite the flame in my heart that has gone out and I want it back. I have many decisions in my life that I need to make and I am praying that I make the right ones. Never give up on what you know God is calling you to. If you want to make God laugh... Tell Him your plans. I am learning that painful lesson. God never leaves us even though we may think He has. When we stop putting God in our back seat and put Him in the drivers seat we will truly learn what peace that passes all understanding truly means. I am a broken man and need Him to put the pieces back together. We are the clay and He is our Potter. When we have grown tired only He can give us the rest we truly desire. We break His heart on a daily basis and He never gives up hope in us. We mean so much to Him that He was willing to send his innocent Son to die for our sins. I am learning what it means to be the Bride of Christ. We seek sometimes our entire lives searching for someone or something to fill a hole that is God-shaped and nothing else will ever fit. We are impatient and we try to fill those holes in our lives and we miserably fail. We run into wall after wall and need Him to pick us back up. If all we had to do was pull ourselves us by our boot straps then He would have not sent His Son. The love that I NOW seek is for His glory and His Kingdom. I struggle on a daily basis of doing those things that I know I hate to do. God has brought me through the situations I know without Him I could have never recovered from. He has never left my side and continues to walk with me and my family each and every day. God works in mysterious ways and I am in awe of His presence in my life. I am not worthy of His attention. I let Him down on a daily basis. I am a testimony of grace and forgiveness. Words can't express what God has done and continues to do in my life and those who He has surrounded me with.
