She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Derek, for more than thirty years and delights to be the mother of two, now, grown children. Debbie spends her time performing with her jazz quartet, speaking at women’s & marriage events/ giving keynote concerts and offers performance coaching in her spare time. She loves the ritual of afternoon tea and frequently pauses for a sunset to enjoy God’s amazing artistry. She and her husband are enjoying their newly emptied nest, still dancing in their kitchen and starting to cross off their bucket list. They reside in Franklin, Tennessee.

Debbie’s sophomore album- A Million Kisses
(National release date Jan. 26, 2018) is a blend of swing and Latin styled jazz original love songs. It is her first all original and self produced album. Additionally, she has a book due out in bookstores in 2019: Dancing in the Kitchen: Hope and help for Staying in Love. In it Cunningham shares stories behind the songs on the album, lessons from her 30 years of marriage and interviews from couples that have walked through difficult seasons of their relationship and stayed together.

The industry buzz ….
-Critic Mut Asheru from Unsigned: The Magazine wrote-The Rest of Your Life: “What a glorious sound Debbie makes. What I love about this album is her vocal fearlessness…There are hundreds of ‘My Funny Valentine’ renditions floating around and her sassy version is rather refreshing…each of the 11 tracks are on absolute elegant treat.

-Greg Lee, Program/Music Director: Debbie’s New album- A Million Kisses-
"What a pleasure to hear Debbie Cunningham! We've known for a long time she's a talent with a remarkable gift for singing. The ten original songs on her latest CD "A Million Kisses" also display a writer of smart, swinging, mature compositions on the subject of love. An artist has emerged here!"

-Debbie Alan, original co-host of Nashville’s Talk of the Town says “Debbie has a voice like velvet” and Bob Collins from WRHU Jazz Radio NY calls Cunningham’s Rest of your Life CD “A gem!”
