Evacalls

The Evacalls were born in January 2011, when Giuseppe Guidotti (keys) started looking for musicians to perform songs by an old project of his. Alessandro Ghiotto (guitar) immediately joined in, soon to be followed by Vincenzo Augello (vocals), who then introduced Alessandro Martinetti (drums) and Matteo Borla (bass) to the band. All the five of them seemed to get along really well form the very start, so they ingaged in an intense writing and performing schedule. Quite notable are the apparitions to the Xanax Off Festival held in Turin, the "Notte Bianca" in Vercelli (over 2000 people in the audience) and the Intarnational Pop Overthrow in Liverpool. They also opened shows by Abiku, Piotta, Il Triangolo and Selton, between the others. Between July and August 2013, the Evacalls recorded their first album at the Noise Factory in Milan, in collaboration with Federico Calvara as artistic producer and with the supervision of Alessio Camagni. Gli Evacalls nascono nel gennaio 2011 quando Giuseppe Guidotti (tastiere) inizia la ricerca di musicisti per suonare dal vivo i brani di un suo vecchio progetto. Si aggiunge subito Alessandro Ghiotto (chitarra) e poi a seguire Vincenzo Augello (voce) che porta con sé Alessandro Martinetti (batteria) e Matteo Borla (basso). Il gruppo risulta da subito molto affiatato e incomincia una intensa attività di scrittura e live. Da sottolineare le partecipazioni allo Xanax Off Festival di Torino, alla notte bianca di Vercelli (con oltre 2000 spettatori) e all’International Pop Overthrow di Liverpool. Hanno anche avuto modo di aprire tra gli altri Abiku, Piotta, Il Triangolo e Selton. Nei mesi di luglio e agosto 2013 registrano il loro primo album presso il Noise Factory di Milano con la produzione artistica di Federico Calvara e la supervisione di Alessio Camagni (Ministri, Iori’s Eyes). give me a reason don't care about myself
