Making Movies

This show was FUN. The band is electric and had the audience dancing. Love the mix of music they played. They had a diverse set of young guest performers with them that were awesome and inspiring. The Persheron was beautiful. What a great night!

What Making Movies does every year for this festival goes beyond the incredible music. It's more about a friendly and inclusive community they create where we all belong.

One of the best live experiences in KC!

This group of musicians have an incredible sound that’s hypnotically danceable, it’s rhythmically complex and with clear tonalities and harmony. The two brothers voices have that charismatic interlocking sibling sound and the drums inspire the audience to dance freely and wild while exploring the Latin/American hybrid sounds. When they play a venue which has great sound quality they really show their talents.

Awesome, awesome and awesomer (not an actual word). High energy performance rocking the venue. I’ve been a fan since I first saw them at the paper tiger circa 2024. The band continues to evolve and perfecting their craft. After the show the band discovered that a young couple was celebrating their wedding anniversary. They them performed the couple’s favorite Making Movies song (Luna) and we all benefited. A classy gesture by a first class act. BRAVO!!!

First time on NYE in ages. Well worth the wait

Fourth time I see them live and they never disappoint. Their music just makes me dance all the time. I love them!!!
