The comparisons are easy to make - Whether it's all that was good about the first Robert Plant and Alison Krauss record, or the more obvious Nick Drake analogies - Sarah Dollar and Jon Rixon are like an irresistibly British Iron & Wine: Two people carouseling around each other's voice to the sound of twin acoustic guitars, underneath a blanket of dusk soaked harmonies and lilting fingerpicking. It doesn't take long to fall in love with Sarah's voice - like it didn't take long to fall in love with Stevie Nicks - and the glorious influence of Rumours is applied like a subtle mascara. And weaved in like wicker, Jon's voice basks somewhere in the sun between Sufjan Stevens, Ed Harcourt and the softer side of Ray La Montagne.
