Alex Cuba can not do a bad song. In addition to being a talented songwriter and performer, he is hilarious. He engaged the audience and made us feel like we were experiencing our own personal concert. The Dazzle is a delightful, intimate menu. The waitstaff were friendly and professional, and the food was tasty. I will look for more shows here.

Alex Cuba's songs and personality bridge across his Latin and non-Spanish speaking fans. His has the ability to work the crowd while playing acoustic and electric guitar, singing, and encouraging the audience to sing the chorus. He even simplified one complex chorus into la-la-la-la, LOL. And did a passable trumpeting with his voice and lips. The Anvil Centre is loverly with underground parking, access to the Skytrain, pre-orders for drinks at intermission, comfortable seats with good sight lines, and a very interesting art exhibition curated from several women I would love to see him perform with a backing band, letting his voice and lyrics fully take the pedestal he keeps his awards on. He told us to "go wild" when he said the name of the next song. We helped him feel like a Rock Star with our applause, cheers, and whistling. And he didn't abuse our support, moving from song to unnamed song without the need for our adoration. One nit, he had CD's, LPs, and stickers for sale but for cash only. I was not prepared! I will have to get a sticker another time or way.

An incredibly talented artist. His stage presence is phenomenal. Eddie’s attic is a great venue for a performer with this kind of charisma. As a one man show, it takes a lot of effort to not come off as boring. It was a wonderful evening. Will definitely see him again! Hopefully next time he will have his supporting musicians from “Tiny Desk Concert “

Alex Cuba was both engaging with the crowd and a one of a kind musician to listen to. His concerts are a must see!!!

Take a beautiful venue and add a talented artist and the result is pure magic. Alex Cuba performed a solo show at the Folly Theater to a few hundred fans and the result was a memorable night. He was warm and entertaining as he joked and conversed with the audience in between songs.

Alex Cuba and his band were FANTASTIC!! His voice is like velvet and his guitar skills blew me away! His musicianship is impeccable, the way he treats every note/riff with care and attention. The slow songs melted my heart. His interaction with the drummer was amazing. Toying with each other and clearly enjoying every minute. The bass player was super chill. I loved how Cuba joked with the audience and got us all to sing-a-long in Spanish, English or Spanglish. Very high energy and full of soul.

Great venue and fantastic show….Alex is genuine and an amazing musician. He is down to earth and you could tell it was important for him to provide a great performance. His band on bass and drums were fantastic…well worth it.

To get to hear and see Grammy award-winning Alex Cuba live, heavenly!! Supremely masterful singer/songwriter/musician - engaging and authentic - loved every minute, every note - thank you Alex, and thank you Narrows - cool venue!

Like sunshine on a cloudy day, Alex Cuba bring beautiful music and playful performance to all of us at the Babs Asper Theatre last night. His concerts are always such a gift!

Such a special, intimate concert for us after he received his honourary doctorate degree from Queen's University. His music, lyrics and even his jokes are great! Congratulations Alex and best wishes!

THE best meal, venue and seeing Ana Lia AND Alex was absolutely the best! I hope they return next season! We will be there! ♥️ Alex!

I have been following Alex Cuba's career since his first CD and have attended many of his performances. His appearance at Pausa was another exceptional concert. The last time I saw him was in Ridgeway, Ontario where he played with an outstanding backing band. It was a phenomenal show. Last night, at Pausa Art House, he played solo and electrified the crowd with his exemplary voice and songs. He encouraged the audience to participate in some tunes and we all did so with great enthusiasm. Alex played an extensive set of old and new songs with panache and grace. Anytime I can attend one of his concerts is a treat and last night was no exception. If you have not had the opportunity to hear his music or see him perform, I highly recommend it. His music transcends language and might encourage you to learn some Spanish!

Alex Cuba is by far the best concert I’ve ever been to. It was such a beautiful, intimate venue. He is such a wonderful performer. Loves to interact with the fans. I was so tempted to meet him in Tampa the very next night, just to experience it again. Love love Alex Cuba

Love Alex Cuba, love him even more after seeing him in concert. He is an amazing guitar player, and has a knack for connecting with the audience. Perfect!

Amazing music, such an entertaining artist with his charming personality. There are few people on earth who can make it sound like 4 people are playing like he does with only his guitar.
