Conquer the Sun

Conquer the Sun is a four piece post-hardcore band hailing from Brooklyn, New York. The band is a result of many incarnations of bands including 556, 21 Days, Probable Cause, 5 Minutes 5 Seconds, Fatality, When Distance Fails, and Break Through. Underneath the manic energy the songs posses, is a raw emotional quality that draws from personal experiences. An intimate approach to the lyrics as well as a collaborative approach to songwriting is what yielded their debut EP, Waypoint, released in July 2011. Each member of Conquer the Sun offers their own passion and drive that seeps through their music and makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
