Zach Williams

The concert was GREAT! Zach & his group did an amazing job as always. My first time seeing MercyMe and they too did an awesome job. As far as the venue, I however do not think they should be selling alcohol at an even where Christian artists perform. I was shocked to see people drinking… They should not have been allowed to bring such beverages onto the floor. Hobart in Troy does not sell alcohol at their Christian concerts.

It was our first time at a Zach Williams concert, part of the TMZ tour with Mercy Me and Toby Mac. We'd seen MM and TMac several times in the past ( consistently outstanding!), but this was our first concert with Zach, whose music we have come to really enjoy. He was truly amazing, and we would have enjoyed more of his time on stage. We will continue to follow his concert tours in the future and look forward to seeing him in the future.

The show was terrific! Zach always puts on an amazing show. Matt Maher opened and drew us into worship right form the start. Next up was Ben Fuller. I just love Ben Fuller and wish he would have played more songs. Cain was electric but in my humble opinion, their stage theatrics (lights, costumes) detract from their songs and messages. Broadmoor World Arena is a fantastic venue to host this concert. Parking is easy and not terribly expensive ($10), the hallways get crowded with vendors while trying to walk around to find your seating so that would be my only drawback.

The show was amazing. However all 3 food vendors ran out of water and actual any drink. No soda. Nothing. It was 90 degrees so we left early because we were dehydrated. The show started at 7. 2 warm up bands with at least 30 min between set ups didn't get zach on until after 9. Getting there at 6pm in 90 degree heat was tough. If we had known they had 2 hrs of warm up we would have come later. The bands were amazing we were just dehydrated and had to leave early. Free water should be available. In florida. They wouldn't let us bring in a water bottle or we could have filled it at a water fountain. But not putting my.mouth on. Public fountain either. Maybe something to think of for next concerts.

I already left a 5 star review for this fabulous event. However, I must apologize because I forgot to say thank you to everyone who makes this event possible and affordable for my family. It's become our annual family tradition and I love it!! So thank you all for making it possible for ordinary folks to enjoy something so special. It is a blessing from God. I am not alone when I say that I totally relate to Zach's songs. It's gotta be The Holy Spirit and of course the hard work and willingness of many wonderful Brothers and Sisters in Christ who make it possible. Also I pray that Zach reads or hears about trademarking his name. It's his mark, his brand. I looked it up at USPTO.gov and he hasn't. Dolly Parton has had her name trade marked since 1982. It's a matter of public record. Zach Williams is being robbed and taken advantage of. Please trade ark your name so you can retire early and spend that precious time with your family. God bless y'all. Hope and pray that he comes near my area next year.

At 70 years old, Zack's concert was the first I have attended in 45 years! It was powerful and full of what I love most... Jesus! Funny thing... the part I thought I would like the least, I loved the most... the Eat & Greet! What a marvelous idea, Zack Williams! Who does that?! Brings a chef and feeds people?! Chef Paul Fields provided the most delicious buffet meal I've had in a very long time - maybe ever. As for the "Greet" portion...How truly lovely to meet the man who helped write such songs as Fear is a Liar, Chain Breaker, and There Was Jesus! Especially, considering they were written from the viewpoint and experiences of a past broken life. Jesus really is the Chain Breaker and the only answer. Thank you for sharing your testimony, Zack... you are changing lives... giving hope in what sometimes feels like a hopeless world. All I can say is a very sincere.Thank You!

Show was off the charts!!! Zach appears to be man who writes from the heart thus every song speaks to Gods glory. His story just shows that some, while always struggling with the flesh have a pure heart for God. ( maybe Zach Williams could write his next tune and call it “ Just ask David” lol) Would love to sit down with Zach over a cup of coffee , he just seems like that kinda guy. The musicians and vocalist are top notch and the support staff are awesome. It was just a wonderful night of worship for me and my bride.

The concerts were great but the venue was not! It was a fighting frenzy to find seats for 4 people! The church is beautiful but assigned seats are a must!! My husband can’t walk very far and he was suffering after finally finding a spot to sit! He cannot stand in the forever line outside!! There needs to be a handicapped accessible downstairs area with pre assigned seats!! I’ll pay a little more for truly accessible area!!

Zach Williams: 10/21/23 “With anticipation I made my way down Route 28 into Evans Georgia Saturday evening for my first time visiting the Columbia County Performing Arts Center and my first time seeing Christian rock singer/songwriter Zach Williams LIVE. I had heard raving reports about the venue from firsthand sources —most notably an usher who worked a different venue, on how it’s just like Greenville’s Peace Center, only newer, i.e. the sound and view from every seat IS really THAT good. A $27 Insider promo ticket solidified the decision to check it out for myself. In all transparency I wasn’t familiar with much from the Grammy and Dove award winning artist from Jonesboro Arkansas but an unplanned and uncontrollable month-long period of my Sirius XM being stuck on The Message fixed that somewhat. The concert itself fell towards the tail end of the third leg of Zach’s ‘A Hundred Highways Tour’ which wraps up on the 28th in Rochester New York. The 2,062 capacity venue was full and anticipation was in the air. My wife and I were seated left orchestra, 14 rows from the stage, but arriving early I was able to walk down to take in a close-up view. The stage was set for his ten piece band, a riser in the background held the positions of the keyboardist to the left, bass player in the middle, and drummer on the right. The B3 had an open face exposing all the innards in straight view towards the audience and the drum head had an image of a buffalo’s head. Behind the riser there were 6 light bars in descending size from the center with beacons on top. Eight hexagon shaped snowflake patterns of seven individual lights each completed the background. There were no video screens. In the forefront from left to right were two female background singers, a guitarist on either side of Zach positioned direct center, pedal steel, and a three piece horn section (trumpet, trombone and saxophone). At 7 p.m. 23 year old opener Riley Clemmons from Nashville TN (contemporary Christian pop) took the stage for a 35 minute / 8 song set beginning with ‘Fear Not’ from her new album ‘Church Pew’ released less than a month ago. ‘Evans Georgia how we feeling tonight Ladies and Gentlemen? My name is Riley Clemmons, we’re so excited to be here tonight, “Come on y’all.”’ Up next was a number 5 single from 2021 ‘For The Good’, and other than that and ‘Fighting For Me’ a number 4 single, the balance of the six songs were all from her new album to the neglect of other of her other charted singles. The songs all held true to a common theme of relationship and faith, and her three person band of guitar, drums, and keyboards were complimentary and not overwhelming. Mid set, I noticed that I had failed to put in my ear plugs as they were hardly necessary, an indicator of just how good the sound in the venue actually was. Her final song, ‘Loved By You’ currently at number 34 on the charts (and moving up) brought the loudest cheers from the audience. After what felt like a rather lengthy stage turn time the lights finally went down at 8:10 to all flashing red lights and a banjo backing track as Zachary Stephen Williams 45 took the stage for an hour and forty minute / 17 song set. Opening with ‘Big Tent Revival’, the first track from his latest release, the set leaned heavily on the new album from which the tour was named after with a prodigious nine song total. A pair of number ones ‘Less Like Me’ and ‘Old Church Choir’ followed with a pause in between for old fashioned meet and greet. To the background chords of an old church organ Zach led the charge, ‘How bout we have a little Church in here tonight? You guys do me a favor if you can, stand up and find somebody to shake hands with, hug somebody’s neck, let’s have some old fashioned Church!’ A friend of Zach’s just happened to be in town from American Idol Season 21 and he brought him on stage for a duet of ‘Sunday’s Comin’. ‘You guys give it up for Mr. Warren Peay’. One of the best performances of the evening, the outlaw styled ‘Jesus’ Fault’, a song Zach had just performed days earlier on the Dove Awards, featured Zach Ingle (the other Zach) on pedal steel guitar. As great as the music was, the message was even greater and things were about to get real as Williams began to share his story. ‘Over the years God allowed me to live through some dark days and walk through some messy times in my life.’ Zach had run to drugs, alcohol, money and material things to fill his void, but ‘the first place you find something is always the last place you look for’ he assured us speaking of Jesus. After emotional performances of a pair of number two singles ‘Rescue Story’ and ‘Fear Is A Liar’ (with Riley Clemmons brought back up on stage) he took a full fifteen minutes to recall his darkest moment and the breakthrough that immediately followed. Tired of living the lifestyle of a rock star and all that entailed with his Southern Rock band ‘The Reformed’, one evening as his tour bus driver was scanning the dial he came across the song ‘Redeemed’ by Big Daddy Weave which changed his life forever. Zach realized that even in spite of the state he was in he could still be saved. Thank you Big Daddy Weave! Next up were a pair of #1’s 2022’s ‘Heart Of God’ and 2019’s ‘There Was Jesus’ featuring one of his background vocalists singing the ‘Dolly Parton’ portion in a strong and moving vocal performance. Zach commented how that a lady had recently interviewed him, ‘If you had to describe your sound and your genre, who would you say you sound like?’ His response, ‘You know for the first time in my life I could say I sound like Zach Williams!’ The music experience we were treated to was diverse, the artist remaining true to his roots, a mixture of country, gospel, rock, and blues. During a reflective moment someone in the orchestra yelled out ‘Chain Breaker’ to which Zach replied, ‘It’s comin’, and it did! With everyone on their feet for the #1 song and band introductions following, the regular set concluded with an all stirring ending. All was not finished as Williams left and reentered the stage for an encore performance of ‘Praise Open’s Prisons’ with every cell phone in the air lighting up the entire Performing Art Center! Growing up in church and walking away Zach finally came home thanks to the power of a praying father who believed in him. He told us that one day while working construction with his father his dad shared a story that he had never heard before. When he was dedicated in church as a child Zach began screaming and the Pastor said, ‘Man this kid’s got a strong set of lungs, he’ll probably be a singer some day’ then spoke life over him pronouncing, ‘This child will be a voice for his generation!’ Who knows how music and message can shape or rather reshape a life, the two thousand person audience got a taste of what that kind of transformation can do!” Review and photo by DAve (Concert #834)

I love him. I purchased 7 tickets as a gift to bring my family to a show that was rescheduled. I went October 6 to Washington, DC only find that the location had been chAnger to the Lincoln theater. Paid for 2 garages and never made it to the show. Ticketmaster showed the old location and still refused to refund me or offer a credit. This is unworthy treatment of loyal customers. Still love Zach. Just disappointed. Given Zach the rating

It was fantastic 🎵 The music was loud, playing was great & singing was wonderful. Hearing Zack’s stories with his dad and about what he has gone through really helps me understand that I will always hold on to Jesus. He keeps me. Jesus never leaves me and I believe & have faith in Him. Thank you Zack Cory was great 👍🏻 he and his band played with heart ❤️ Cory too telling his story keeps me knowing I need to connect with God each and every day. If God is for me who is against me. I’ve seen Zach multiple times but this was one of his best. My wife & I purchased 10 tickets for my family which had never seen him. This perfect venue had Zach play unplugged. Not only were his songs so much more personal but his words and explanations of each song heartfelt. I never saw him or my family cry so much! I also wanted to thank the other Zach(Zinger) one of the band members for signing my hat that Zach had signed at a meet & greet. I’m looking forward to the next chance to see this incredible group! Zach keep up what you’re doing, you are reaching so many hearts & souls including one right here!

So I was really disappointed because I thought I wasn’t going to see Zach Williams and then my dad surprised me with a VIP ticket to this concert! We got to eat dinner made by his own chef and have a FAQ. He also played Heart of God for us. The concert itself was really great! Anne Wilson was there as well and I just wish I could’ve heard her voice better. Zach sang all his songs then after intermission, him and his band came out dressed in white and they played Christmas songs. Loved it!

I've seen 4 or 5 shows now. This one was fantastic! Definitely one of the best yet. And Ben fuller was awesome. Never get tired of listening to Zach. Listen to him everyday. The blessing he has done in my family through his music is amazing. Love this guy truly an amazing blessing to us all. Thank you Jesus for his rescue he has used to minister to so many. The response by the crowd says it all. It is so moving to witness. Thank you Zach.

The venue was very nice, and was a good size. The parking was handy that was purchased with the tickets as well. It was a more intimate setting than lots of places I’ve seen concerts, and i don’t think there is a bad seat. Zach Williams was amazing! His team of performers were all top notch, and his opening act Ben has such a powerful testimony. The music was uplifting, and you couldn’t help but clap, and sing along. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to see a great act perform .

I loved the concert! Mr. Williams has had an interesting life. Truly a talented man of God! Amazing voice! I appreciate how he shared his testimony. Any believer who has ever been through anything knows that Our Savior specializes in using (I say this respectfully) “jacked up” people. I too am one……but God! If you haven’t followed Mr. Williams or seen him in person, please go. He’ll be quick to say that Zach Williams is not important. He freely gives his praise and worship to his Heavenly Father. Fantastic. Didn’t know too much about the singer, only knew his one song Chainbreakers. Found out he’s from Jonesboro, Arkansas…which means he’s basically a Memphis boy like me. I recognize the blues influence in several of his songs and loved it. I will be getting his CD’s but I am pretty certain their live music is better. Thanks for the show. It was encouraging. I have an adult son who’s lost and Zack’s story helped give me renewed hope that God will answer my Prayers.

This was absolutely fantastic. This was our first time ever at The Fred and it was definitely worth the drive for us! We kept remarking at how pristine it was, how kind everyone was. We drove nearly 2 hours for this show and will gladly do so again. Zach put on a A M A Z I N G show. It was wonderful to hear his testimony, as well as Jason Fowler's, and seeing what God can do. 10/10 - All the stars!!
