The band was founded in late 1996 by Ivaylo Kanchev - drums, Alexander Kalanov - bass and Georgi Lazarov - guitar. Later the same year, Alexander brought a friend to listen to their rehearsal. That friend was Stoyan Stoyanov, who by then was also drummer, singer and songwriter in a band, called Divorced Friends. At that time Stoyan joined the band as a lead singer. Initially, BFH played a few showa in Varna - Vulcan rock club.The music was perceived very well by the crowd. Then many concerts followed, when BFH played in the classic Varna Hradcore venue, called 'Orbita'. In addition to their own songs, the band played covers of their favorite bands: Earth Crisis, Snapcase, Abhinanda, Sick Of It All and Guilt. The demo album “Inside Voice” was recorded in exactly two days in Studio City, Sofia with the enormous support of Hristian of Meanstream, who was running the Freemind distribution and label. Following that release, the band started playing lots of live shows in Varna, Sofia and Pleven. In 1998, after a concert in Varna, Georgi Lazarov met Kostadin Tsvetkov. Pretty soon he became the fifth element of BFH. A year later the band were in Graffitti Studio, where they recorded their second album “Burned From Hope”, with the help of Bobby Bonchev. In early 1999, this album came to light on cassette and CD. (CD No. 001 on CD catalog ONPOINT RECORDS). Release of the album was accompanied by promotions in Varna, Pleven and Sofia, and received an overwhelming support from the hardcore kids. In 2001, UNITED & STRONG released the now classic compilation - Varna Hardcore Point Of View, where the band participated with two new songs from their next album Bits oF Humanity - In The Name Of A Grey World (The Politician ) and Waste (The Dreamer). They were specifically recorded for this compilation. Another song from the album can be found in compilation - Say No TO Drugs And Prejudice on FREEMIND Productions, issued specially for the festival FREEMIND in 2001 and distributed for free to those who visited the festival. The song is called Shield (The Spiritual) and was a concert performance. In the summer of 2002 the drummer Ivaylo Kanchev left for Germany and the band have quite a long time looking for his worthy successor. So in early 2003 Yordan Borisov became the second drummer of BFH. He recorded the drums on third BFH release - Bits Forming Humanity (2003 unreleased 8-song demo). After the departure of Stoyan to Las Vegas, USA and Alexander moving to Sofia the stopped playing for four years. On 30.08.2007. after 4-year break the band played an unadvertised concert in club Area 51 in Varna. 300 kids showed up to this word-of-mouth show. After a couple more years of break, in 2010 Stoyan moved to Manchester, UK and had a chance to play again during his frequent visits to Bulgaria. Now that Aleksander and Yordan had co-founded their own professional sound-recording studio in Sofia, Pacific Studio (check them out on facebook at: xxxx), the band had a chance to finally record the songs they had been writing since 1999 - the songs of the conceptual album Bits oF Humanity. In April 2011, they wrote one more song, called Humanity (The Herd), which was conceptualized as an Intro and Outro of the album. So, the new album is due to be released in 2012 with 10 songs of energetic, powerful and thoughtful HARDCORE - VARNA style. Групата е създадена в края на 1996-та година от Ивайло Кънчев – барабани, Александър Каланов – бас и Георги Лазаров – китара. На една репетиция Александър кани един свой приятел да послуша...това е Стоян Стоянов, който оттогава е вокал и текстописец на групата. Първите изяви на новата банда са във Варна в рок – клуб “Вулкан”. Новата група и техните песни се приемат много добре от феновете на хардкора във Варна. Демо албума на групата “Inside Voice” е направен точно за два дни в студио Сити, София. След създаването на демо-албума бандата става много активна и свири на много концерти предимно във Варна, София и Плевен. През 1998-ма година след един концерт във Варна Георги се запознава с Костадин Цветков - китара. Много скоро той става “петият елемент” от BFH. Година по – късно бандата е в Графити студио, където съвсем професионално записват вторият си албум “Burned From Hope”. Голяма роля в създаването на албума изиграва Боби Бончев – невероятно креативна и отдадена на процеса личност. В началото на 1999-та албума излиза на пазара на касети и дискове (CD номер едно от каталога на ONPOINT RECORDS). Пускането на албума е съпроводено от промоции във Варна и София, които някакси са не на място, защото феновете вече знаят всички песни от предишни концерти Не съм много сигурен за годината, но около 2000 – 2001-а година на пазара излиза компилацията UNITED & STRONG – Varna Hardcore Point Of View, в която BFH са предтавени с две нови песни от техния следващ албум – Bits Forming Humanity, а именно The Name Of A Grey World (Politician) и Dreamer. Тези две песни са специално записани и миксирани за тази компилация. Друга песен от новият албум може да бъде открита в компилацията Say No TO Drugs And Prejudice на FREEMIND Productions, компилация създадена специално за фестивала FREEMIND през 2001-а година и се разпространява безплатно на всички които са дошли на фестивала. Песента се казва Shield (Spiritual) и е лайв изпълнение. През лятото на 2002-ра барабаниста Ивайло Кънчев заминава да учи в Германия и бандата прекарва много време в търсене на добър заместник. Така в началото на 2003-та на столчето зад барабаните сяда Йордан Борисов. Той свири в новият и все още немиксиран трети албум на BFH – Bits Forming Humanity. След заминаването на Стоян за Америка и отиването на Александър да учи и живее в София бандата се разпада и спира с представленията. На 30.08.2007г., след четири годишно прекъсване една от най – обичаните и титуловани групи на българската хардкор сцена забива здраво на сцената на варненският клуб “Зона 51”. Шоуто беше от осем до десет вечерта и предложи на феновете всичко това за което бяха чакали толкова дълго. Членовете на групата се бяха събрали по едно и също време във Варна и напомниха кой е номер едно в българският хардкор. Varna Hardcore from the 90's
