Virtual Time

Virtual Time is a rock band from Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza, Italy) definitely founded in 2012 composed of the drummer Alessandro Meneghini and the guitarist Luca Gazzola the bassist Marco Pivato and the singer Filippo Lorenzo Mocellin. The fours started immediately to experiment and to search the feeling and intensity among them necessary to create their own personal sound that leads to the creation of numerous songs. Style and influences of the band can be recognized to the fantastic sonorities of the 70s with all the variants: from the Hard Rock of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple to the Progressive Rock of King Crimson and Pink Floyd, passing through the Folk Rock of CCR and CSN&Y but also touching something Alternative like Muse. The first EP "Getting Twisted" represents the most aggressive side of the band. Three songs formed by powerful guitar riffs, scratching voice mixed with a bass and drums always incisive. In April 2014 they promote Getting Twisted in Spain, playing eight fantastic concerts in the most famous Spanish cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Cordova etc. In the spring 2015 after a tour in Italy the band starts to record the first album at Hate Recording Studio with Federico Nardelli as artistic producer. After two intense weeks of work the album is finally ready and in December the new first single from the album Fire World II and its videoclip has been released in premiere for rockit.it. On January 2016 Fire World II is the song of the week for The Rocket on Virgin Radio Italy, on February Virtual Time are the “Just discovered” band for MTV New Generation. The new album, Long Distance, is officially released on the 12th of March and from then Virtual Time are playing around Italy for promoting it.

I Virtual Time sono una rock band di Bassano del Grappa, fondata definitivamente nel 2012 composta da Alessandro Meneghini alla batteria, Luca Gazzola alla chitarra Marco Pivato al basso ed il cantante Filippo Lorenzo Mocellin. I quattro iniziano immediatamente a sperimentare e a cercare il feeling e l'intensità necessari per creare il loro personale sound che li porta alla composizione di numerose canzoni. Lo stile e le influenze della band sono riconducibili alle fantastiche sonorità anni 70 in tutte le loro varianti: dall'Hard Rock dei Led Zeppelin e dei Deep Purple al Progressive Rock dei King Crimson e dei Pink Floyd, passando per il Folk Rock dei CCR e CSN&Y toccando anche sound alternativi come i Muse. Il lato più aggressivo della band è rappresentato dal primo EP "Getting Twisted". Tre brani che si susseguono in un concentrato di energia Hard-Rock, potenti riff di chitarra ed una voce graffiante, mixati ad un basso ed una batteria sempre incisivi. Nell'Aprile 2014 hanno promosso Getting Twisted anche in Spagna suonando otto concerti nelle città spagnole più famose come Barcellona, Madrid, Cordova ecc. Nella primavera 2015 dopo un tour lungo la penisola italiana la band inizia la registrazione del primo album all'Hate Recording Studio con l'aiuto del produttore artistico Federico Nardelli. Dopo due settimane di intenso lavoro l'album è finalmente pronto e a Dicembre il nuovo singolo estratto dall’album Fire World II e il videoclip sono in premiere per rockit.it. A Gennaio 2016 Fire World II diventa la novità più importante della settimana con The Rocket per Virgin Radio Italy e a Febbraio i Virtual Time sono scelti da MTV New Generation come band “Just discovered”. Il release ufficiale del nuovo album Long Distance è il 12 Marzo, da quel momento la band è impegnata in una serie di concerti in Italia per promuovere il nuovo disco.
