The band Llama Boy has been established since 2009, but some of the songs were composed many years before from a collective memory of being a So.Cal musician but a true Fresnan. The authentic lyricist stands sincere and Awaken with love, beer, and friends. Still writing new songs playing shows,making videos and new Cd's in 2017. Gary 'Smiley' Baxter was born and raised in Fresno, California. Even though he manages to escape to Hollywood and San Fernando Valley sum 22 years, he finds himself back in his hometown.Smiley brings home folk stories and life long experiences from multiple bands such as Rott Gutt, Harsh Reality, The Nervous Rex,The Incidentals, Mercury 5 and Soular Power just to name a few.
