Soraia

I just left a review of their Thursday night show so that can suffice for my main points. The Friday show was equally fantastic. I really liked them playing "Wandering Star," which is the first I heard them play it in my 6 times seeing them. Bravo! What I really liked was my ability to speak with the individual band members before and after the show. Zou Zou and I had a great conversation about different things. Brianna and I also had a great conversation (she is a hoot!), and guitarists Scott and Mike were super down to earth. I have seen Soraia 6 times now and each time it gets easier to speak with the band members up close and personal. I suppose that's only natural. It is very important for band members to interact with fans at these shows. It provides a sense of belonging. To be a super fan you really need that extra touch of approachability from a band. It takes a lot of energy to maintain a level of "super fan excitement," and the bands really help to maintain that when they interact. We sometimes travel great distances to see our heroes, so it is always gratifying when they make time for us and make us feel welcome. Rock on Soraia, you guys are awesome!

Soraia exceeded all expectations and was spectacular per usual. I brought by brother and half dozen friends, and they all loved it. My friend Rich has seen Soraia 5 times, and he said this was the best show yet. I especially liked their version of "Strutter" which absolutely rocked! I also liked their new releases "Bang Them Bones" and "Union City Blue." Well done! One word of advice... there were four bands on a Thursday night, which is a work night. Three would have been enough as it turns out to be a very late night. We couldn't stay for the last band, who I have seen before and is excellent. My suggestion is to limit work night shows to three bands so the fans can stay and the bands all get a chance for a packed house. FYI most of my friends echoed this suggestion. The venue was great, and they have a really good hamburger platter. Food always makes everything better!

Amazing energy, fantastic showman(and lady)ship, just real raw, Rock N Roll!!!!

This was my 5th Soraia show since March. It was by far the best in terms of quality of performance, venue and crowd. Everyone was happy! I was the “group leader” of half dozen 20-something’s including my niece and my friend’s son. They all thought Soraia was the best of the bands that played that evening. The ladies loved the vocalist’s fashion style! Soraia’s vocalist Zou Zou Mansour exuded energy, excitement and exuberance. She literally bounced with joy! The absolute best was when she jumped from the stage and gave a group hug to my 24 year old niece n her girlfriends, and then proceeded to dance with my niece. That video will become a treasured family heirloom. All in all I was so happy to turn these young people on to such a spectacular artist!

My friends and I were thrilled with our experience. We all love NYC to begin with. To be in a small downtown rock club on a Saturday night in the big city was a real treat. We met a lot of Soraia "Fiends" (Super Fans) who we all bonded with instantly. The venue was funky, cozy and had a great vibe. Like being in someone's cool basement bonus room. The artists themselves were superlative. Soraia put in a fantastically emotional performance. Diamond Dogs were joyous and happy, they had us laughing all the way through. The icing on the cake was meeting Little Steven Van Zandt. He was friendly, gracious and tolerated out "fan gushing." He let me get a pic of the two of us together which I will definitely have framed and placed on the wall in my office. Soraia has held a special place for me since I discovered them last Christmas. They are an essential part of the rock music scene, and I wish them the best on their musical journey.

Soraia as always brought it strong. This is bar rock the right way. Lead vocalist and front woman extraordinaire, Zou Zou Mansour was at her usual frenetic best. A force of nature in 6 inch platforms, her vocal range recalls such rock legends as Grace Slick and Tina Turner. Backed by the nimble drumming of Brianna Sig and the bass lines of Travis Smith, she shook and shimmied her way through a collection of the bands offerings. Monster, Superman is Gone and Quicksand led the way with Je Ne Sais Quoi closing out a great night of power rock. If you have the chance, spend an evening with Soraia. Your rock and roll soul will thank you!

I couldn't make it, but I saw the videos n pics on Facebook. If the vids n pics were that good, then seeing them live must have been exhilarating! I've seen them twice and each time left my friends and I wanting more. They have a number of shows in my area this November and I hope to catch all 4 if at all possible.

They Really Rocked!! 🤘❤ I had a blast!!

First of all this was one of the most creative and unique place I have ever seen a concert, and it clearly showed on each person's faces. Also, SORAIA, my favorite band performing in such an inclusive venue that made it altogether, 'exclusive'. I will be back! ;) These guys really know how to support a band and make a memorable experience.

Phenomenal performance yet again by SORAIA! This band should be not only on everyone’s playlist, but they shall see this band LIVE to be fulfilling such an experience that will stay with you, well, forever.... Inclusive is exclusive ; - )

Soraia per usual exceeded all expectations. They stood out in a show that featured a number of bands, many of whom had years more experience than Soraia. Their energy and intensity were astonishing.

I left a review before but again, lived up to expectations n satisfied some very tough critics. They won over some fans, hope to see them at the Brooklyn show.

It doesn't get much better than Soraia live. Zou Zou Mansour is a rock goddess! Great musicians and great people. Will always see them when they're in the area. The opener Idiot Kids were also great! Looking forward to seeing them again too 🤘

I personally invited half dozen friends and relatives to attend the Soraia show. They trusted that I knew this would be a fantastic concert. I can tell you the show exceeded all expectations. Not only did the band wow everyone. But some of them now want to join my wife and I when we go to the NYC show in a few weeks. My brother became an instant fan. He was so impressed he wanted us to drive up to Somerville MA THE NEXT DAY to see them again. And he’s a critic! The band was outstanding. Zou Zou Mansour is a star, and I am just so excited to have seen her in action. She came over and said hello to my group, she was gracious, she was funny, it was a super fun experience. So good!

The band was very tight, great in all respects. Warranted a much larger crowd but those of us who were there had an amazing experience.
