The September Campaign

The September Campaign formed in 2011, incorporating members from previous Upstate New York bands. Though the members musical backgrounds differed greatly, they combined their talents to form a unique indie rock sound heavily influenced by early 2000’s emo-rock and post-hardcore music. While undergoing several lineup changes over the following two years, the band slowly crafted their debut album Haunt, combining their unique musical styles and influences into an ambitious concept album revolving around the experiences of a man in German occupied Poland during World War II. Following Haunt, the band spent the summer of 2013 writing and recording a three song EP entitled, "Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea" which they then released in September. These new tracks showed off a more mature style and focus for the band that really highlights their unique skill set. On the album, the band shifts their music seamlessly, at times showcasing their aggressive riffs overlaid with screaming vocals only to seconds later drop down into gentle guitar and vocals that display the wide range of talent that the group possesses. 5 piece Indie/Emo/Rock band from Canandaigua, NY. http://theseptembercampaign.bandcamp.com
