Born on the west coast of Cape Town, South Africa.

JONNYGUY grew up sailing, surfing, and skateboarding.
His father who was a pirate, handed down his ocean sailing ways to his children, which inevitably led JONNYGUY to sail the seven seas in his early youth.
Naturally, he found himself washed up on the shores of the Caribbean, where his true inspiration for creating music began.

Based out of St. Maarten, JONNYGUY produces a music genre that blurs the lines of Tropical Indie and Reggae influences, sharing messages about embracing life's highs and lows.
