Another Dead Rockstar

Another Dead Rockstar combines the powerful drumming and singing of Ivo Matic, the massive low-end thump of Rob Parsh on bass, and the melodic growl of Tom Curry on guitar. Influences include: Alice in Chains, Matthew Good Band, Soundgarden, Rush, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a bunch of 70's, 80’s, and 90’s rock to the present that's too long to list.


Another Dead Rockstar formed from the ashes of another local Cleveland band: toeHead. During the middle 90s toeHead played around the local area quite a bit and made a local name for themselves before disbanding in 1996.


Band members Ivo Matic and Tom Curry (former Asylum and 40 Watt Jones member), both also former members of toeHead, have worked together in a few different bands since then. Another Dead Rockstar originally formed in 2010, playing a few shows while working on writing songs for an upcoming album. Plans changed and the album was never released.


Rob Parsh (former Lazy Susan and Three Drink Minimum member) joined in 2018, and contributed to the writing of a whole new batch of songs that became the new album.
