"One(8)Seven"

"One(8)Seven" is a luxembourgish punk band founded in July 2010, featuring members of previous/other bands such as Rise-Up, A Decade To Silence, Weakonstruction, Divine Spark, Dead City Streets,... Our style (I guess) can be defined as a strong mixture of fast ska core, d-beat and melodic crust punk. (But find out for yourself!) Since the beginning we've had a few drummers joining and leaving the band, until Flep joined us, and stayed for a while, whom we still owe and want to thank a lot for his efficient ideas in writing new songs and making a first big progress even possible! But then he left the band and a bit later Charel (from Weakonstruction) joined 187 so we could continue from where we had stopped. We started recording our songs for our first EP - Defense Starts With Heart - in July 2011 with Jeffent from Up To You Shows & Tom from The Workshop Recording Studio. Uai joined the band as our second vocalist (check out the tunes "It's A 187" & "Apathie"). Up until then we shared the stages aswell with local bands, as with international bands, such as Thee Infidels, Luvdump, Officer Down, The Junk, Pestpocken, Union Jack, Rejecting Society and played venues in Luxembourg, Belgium, France & Germany! Our EP has been released on the 3rd March 2012 on Riot Ska Records & Prejudice Me Records in the UK, Infested Records in the US and on Synicalist Records in Canada. The release show took place in Neunkirchen (GER) @ the "This Is For The Kids Festival Vol.3". Shortly after the release show, Uai had to leave the band and Dany (ex-DIVINE SPARK) joined in. We split up in July 2012, exactly two years after the band was founded, because of internal disagreements. We've reformed in September 2014.. More news as soon as there are some.
