About Rabid
There are at least 3 bands going by the name Rabid:
1) Thrash metal band out of New York, NY (photo). Founded in 2003, they started as a death metal band, but later changed their sound to that of thrash metal.
Three demos and a split (with Funerot) were released between 2003-2005. The year 2007 saw the first full length release "Annihilation", out on Reaper Metal Records.
2) Thrash/speed metal band from California, which released 2 demo albums in '85 and '86.
3) The original Rabid: a punk band from Leicester, England, active from 1979 to around 1983. Released a few records, and had "Bloody Road to Glory" and "Black Cat" included on the Slam punk compilation in 1986.
