Ableminds

Ableminds is the creation of Jordan Linit and Charles Parker Mertens. Combining Dirty Beats and Live Looping with ripping synths, Filthy Basslines, and heavenly guitar, performed by two instrumentalist's/DJ's. This project truly integrates the party atmosphere of a DJ w/ the excitement of a live band that can improvise and make each performance unique. This music is "sure to make your ass shake". It is a combination of their love of composing, performing, and producing bass heavy, dance laden BEATS. The Duo has been in the studio on and off for a year shaping their sound and working on their debut album scheduled for release in the Summer of 2011. With the album nearing completion, Ableminds has focused on incorporating live looping/improvisation with the original beats created by these 2 colorado producers. On stage Charlie and Jordan perform (and loop) guitars, basses, and many synthesizers, while at the same time DJ both original tracks and audio created on the fly.
