Born In former Soviet Union, now DJ-ing, educating and creating content in USA, Uzo has an incredible story to tell. The story that is in a constant creation and innovation, because he believes that every day is a new blessing and the history is always in the making.

Uzo trusts in the power of a story, be it a photograph, a short video clip or an hour-long mixtape. He believes in the force of a tale that connects people and motivates them to become better, to push further, to reach one’s ultimate goal. As a DJ, he’s sharing his stories through music. For Uzo, it’s a cultural exchange, a communication through the sound and the space where he and his listeners are. He creates an environment, a unique energy and tells his myth through music. During his DJ career he has shared the musical stage with the legends of Chicago House Music Scene, artists such as Julius the Mad Thinker, Russoul/PUM, Paul Johnson, Gene Farris, DJ Madrid and many more.

Uzo believes in connecting people, creating together with and for the community, that’s why he decided to launch his nonprofit organization UNITED IN AMERICA. He has also influenced the local cultural developments with MALA: Muslim American Leadership Alliance, The Holiday Heroes, Minds Matter of Chicago, A Boy and His Dream Foundation & other non-profit organizations. Due to his social activities, his positive attitude, determination, and expertise in building social communities, Uzo Udu was awarded The President's Volunteer Service Award in 2017. It is one of the highest achievement awards a civilian may receive for his service and impact on the culture of the United States.

Uzo’s diverse background has been able to guide him on his path to the White House and now with the recognition of a President, he is set to travel and share the knowledge and wisdom of entrepreneurship, social and cultural awareness and community building. His vision is to unite and educate cultures to enrich and empower people through art, visuals and music. His charity organization UNITED IN AMERICA will elevate and create opportunity vessels for many talented souls around the globe.
