Adam Miller

Great...no..., actually an awesome show. Adam is an amazing guitarist and a wonderful person. His trio were so musically on point and tight. The Jazzlab is a really great venue - very warm and inviting, and well laid out. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Adam had us move to within 6 ft of the stage allowing us to witness up close how magically he can add note up note over chords, upstroke a new note over a riff and a chord, or just fingerpick his way beyond anything I have ever seen previously on acoustic or electric guitar. Standard tuning all night long except for an occaisonal drop D (with eyes closed), he could take you back to the best of the Steely Dan "days-of-the-80's", or to just about anywhere and anyplace in between! What an awesome guitarist to spend time with and what a nice venue to enjoy a Saturday night evening at Ben & Bucky's Guitar in South Burlington, VT. Hat's off to you guys for bringing another spectacular artist to our region! The Sunday morning workshop with Adam was an incredible congregation of music geeks gathering for a clear dose of syncho-pated musical theory, especially for those that have never played jazz or blues on guitar before. Everyone learned something new to worship at church! Thanks So Much Because this was over the top! A+ -Michael O'Connor
