North Road

North Road are an English rock band from Nottingham. They are currently in high demand for their esteemed live performances and have attracted numerous gig offers from renowned music venues, including several main stage appearances at festivals. The band organised an independent 2013 UK tour spanning over 52 gigs with more shows confirmed for 2014, following their catalogue of successful performances. North Road will also be returning to several venues by popular demand! (See the Events page for details). North Road gained international attention for their rendition of 'Crossroads' (written by blues legend Robert Johnson, 1911-1938). It received air play on 'Blues City Radio' Texas, USA, along side world-class blues artists such as B.B. King and Eric Clapton amongst others. The band have also made plenty of appearances on local radio stations such as Trent Radio 'Nottingham’s greatest radio station', Radio Newark, Siren FM, Lincoln City Radio, NUSIC Podcast, and Sine FM. Notably, in June of 2013 North Road became one of the Top 10 Bands in the ReverbNation charts- As of March 2013, 2.7 million musicians had created ReverbNation accounts online. North Road perform their own original songs, which are consistently evoking an enthusiastic response from the band's ever-increasing fan base. The band have also been well known for bringing their audience an outstanding selection of cover songs from remarkable bands and artists such as: Credence Clear Water Revival, Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Tommy Tucker, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton (Cream), David Bowie, and more!
