The Protoneers

Originally formed in 2009 starting out by covering classic tracks by artists including The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream/Eric Clapton, Santana,The Who, Led Zeppelin. This formed a sound rooted in classically styled rock and modern bass heavy blues. Debut EP 'Six67 Extended Play' was the first release in July of 2011. Following this appearances were made at some of the UK's top level venues including Islington O2 Academy 2, Plug Sheffield, The Musician Leicester and also the UK's Live & Unsigned during 2012.
