Sedusa

Formed in early 2014, Sedusa is a punk trio led by singer Cecilia Olea (Analog Society/Echo Bombs) who took matters into her own hands and began delivering the "baby" that she's always wanted: an all-girl punk band. Although an original line-up fell through just before the May shows, Cecilia was able to get in contact with an old college mate and drummer, Angela Garcia (Audio Engineer @ Jivemind), and snagged her for the peformances. Angela officially joined the band in June and continues as Sedusa's drummer and co-songwriter, and (hopefully) also as the band's recording engineer in the near future. Not too long after the May shows, Cecilia met Jessica Rogers, a cool carpenter from Mesa who just happened to be at Cecilia's work in Glendale by chance. After an official meeting, the girls hit it off and Jess was in the band! Thus, the trio was established and in a short amount of time, Sedusa as it is now, has already landed several valley shows, and is quickly picking up steam and a following faster than they thought! While a bassist is still desired, Sedusa has not yet made any announcements to add to the line-up, but will, perhaps feature fill-in bassists for larger shows in the future.
