Sixteen-armed nocturnal grrr-oove beast ‘Alotta Presha’ is Wollongong’s very own reggae/dub juggernaut. With the formulaic combo of soaring poetic based lyricism floating atop deep bass and ground-shaking rhythms, Alotta Presha is renowned for its sweaty dance pits and big time party starting. Forming in late 2009 the band has taken on many shapes, sizes, faces and sounds in the search for something which has become entirely their own. Since this formation, they’ve have shared the stage with acts such as Katchafire, King Cannons, Zennith, The Strides, Kingtide and Mount Mocha Kilimanjaro. With their debut E.P now available independently and a big summer of touring on the cards, Alotta Presha are a force not to be ignored.
