Archetypes

Archetypes are an alternative/progressive rock band from Brisbane. Their music is a melting pot of vastly different individual influences which culminate in exciting and interesting song writing. Despite these differences in influence, Archetypes have certainly built a distinctive foundation of sound; from galloping rhythms fixed with good ol’ fashioned electric guitar harmonies all the way through to slower, sultry atmospheric melodies. Archetypes are sure to keep your attention whilst putting on an energy-filled performance! After breaking into the scene in 2013, the guys have had their respective noses to the proverbial grindstone, participating in and putting on successful shows at great Brisbane venues such as The Zoo, The Triffid, Crow Bar, Eatons Hill Tavern and the New Globe Theatre. The guys have recently released their debut 9-track album 'Monument' and have big plans both locally and interstate for 2017!
