Spire (NY)

Spire is a five-piece metal band based in central New York. Through the years they have explored many facets of extreme music combining elements of groove, thrash, and melodic death. The intent is to constantly push the envelope of musicality and to engage the listener through philosophical thought. Formed in 2002, they have released three full length albums, two EPs, a single, and are currently readying the release of their fourth full length in March of 2016 entitled, “Structures of the Universe.” "He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." -A.
