DJ-Q

Victor Rivera (born in 1981) better known as “DJ Q”, born in El Salvador and raise in San Francisco California since he was 1 yr old. He always had a strong passion and love for the music, like his quote says "MUSIC IS MY LIFE". Since he was 13yrs of age he used to practice with his father, also a dj, almost every night in the garage. Soon after, he started getting gigs at house parties and used to dj for free; it was a way for him to get involved and network with people. At the age of 19 he got into the club scene. It was his practice and experience that allowed him an easy transition to the club scene in early 2000. Although a big fan of all music genres like Top 40s, Dance, EDM, House, Ecetro, Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Alternate rock, 80’s, 90’s, Old School, Salsa, merengue, cumbia,reggaeton,bachata, Samba, Punta, and more. Over the years he started doing his own live mahsups, and begun to show it up more and more in his live mix sets. Soon after, he started doing Latin mashups, now he is known for having Latin flavor mix with hip hop, or dance. His versatility makes him an asset to the DJ world as he can play all genres of music. From hip hop and house, to Latin and rock, or all mixed in to one seamless set; he can play it all! He not only mixes music but he also does Video Mixing. Dj-Q has rocked crowds at some of the hottest clubs and radio stations in San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Reno, and Las Vegas. Now his mixes goes international on the hottest radio in Argentina, Venezuela, and Ecuador. DJ-Q has shared the stage with some of the industries biggest names and performers Artist. As a true DJ, his versatility and ability to read a crowd makes him an asset to nightclubs and events everywhere.
