Doctor Johnson

Doctor Johnson are four guys hailing from the Australian capital. With an explosion of pop, punk and pure energy Doctor Johnson is developing a strong and growing following around Canberra. Forming first in 2004 as 100% juice the band eventually went their own ways and formed other bands for the next few years. Whilst you can clearly see the influence alcohol has had on their song writing a stint in rehab helped get their shit together and they formed Doctor Johnson in early 2008. The boys spent the better part of the first few months playing frequently in Miller’s garage and grabbing any offers/opportunities they could. Parties, youth centres and bars, you name it, Dr Johnson was there. This continued until the band booked in recording time at Sydney’s Electric Sun Studios. Recording just three songs proved to work well in the favour of these four musicians, this opened up a whole new area of promotion and opportunities. Dr Johnson is working on releasing their debut album and will be in a store near you very soon
