Bob Marley (Comedian)

I am a longtime fan of Bob Marley and have been to about 20 of his shows by now. I am from Maine and that probably helps because I totally get his humor. But not only are his jokes funny, his physical comedy really makes him rise to the top of comedic talent. McCurdy’s is a great venue. The show was a sell out. Bob Marley is a must see.

I’m giving Bob Marley five stars because after seeing him more than thirty times from my first time at the Merrill Auditorium on New Year’s Eve, numerous times in Worcester, MA and now in Port St. Lucie, there has never been a disappointment. However, we didn’t end up going on 2/1 due to Eventbrite, the company that we bought our tickets through. I had a problem with my tickets and couldn’t get through to a person, so I sent an email that no one responded to. While I will ALWAYS enjoy Bob’s shows, and hopefully continue to enjoy them, I’ll hesitate after what I went through trying to deal with Eventbrite and bandsintown.

Parking was relatively convenient at The Grand. We had great seats, location wise, however I was slightly disappointed to see 2 folding chairs as part of our 3 seat ticket purchase, anticipating theater seating as shown on the chart....With all that said, Bob did not disappoint he delivered a "spot on" show!! His opening act was fun to listen to as well. We have been to several of his shows and never disappointed. I would like to suggest he might consider doing some Windsor Fair appearances again. We used to love catching him there during fair season. Every year I look for the entertainment line up hoping to SEE his name in the lineup.

It was so much fun this is the 3rd time I see him Show did not disappoint There were some people that brought their kids its not a place for them I would say that most things he said went over their head I will go again its an evening for a great time

How could you not give Bob Marley any thing less than 5 stars? Great material and the opening act was very good. Although I love The Taste of Maine, it’s not the best venue for an audience. It was so hot - the air conditioning wasn’t on and the windows couldn’t be opened because the handles were removed. There were two fans running in the center of the room, but the fans on the sides and back were off. Asked an employee to turn them on and he didn’t know where the switches were and didn’t offer to find out. 🙁 The bar was set up in the front so if you had seats on the side where the bar was located, the long line of people blocked the view and their conversations drowned out the mic’d opening act.

His opener was funny as well very witty and relatable well timed punch lines. So relatable, so animated, so funny! I've cried laughing with his specials he has made in the past, first time seeing him live, I was not at all disappointed. He was so funny and looked so comfortable up on stage, but was also original, and I'm sure each show he is original. Will be attending the next time he comes to Denver guaranteed!

Bob Marley never disappoints. His comedic style is downright hilarious and refreshing because he talks about real life and allows you to laugh at it. I have seen him 3 times now and he always has new material. However, I would still go to see him and listen to his old stuff. He’s that funny. It is even funnier to someone like me, being a New Englandah, but his comedy is for anyone. And he just seems like a really nice guy! I follow him on Facebook also, and look forward to his little posts that he does about once or twice a week. If you’re having a bad day, follow Bob Marley on Facebook. It will quickly turn around. Looking forward to his return to FL next year!

Mechanics Hall is a beautiful venue to see a show. I really didn't know who Bob Marley was. I looked him up and found out he played a Detective in Boondock Saints. He had the crowd in stitches the whole night. Highly recommend see him live. We will definitely try and go again.

Holy shit it was freakin nice . Bit a bit warm out that night , Bobby had a GREAT show . I was lucky to get tickets the wife got them on line for Thursday night . Some dickweed canceled my Friday night tickets I was ready to plankum , but all ended well front row with a rack a beers thanks to mother. Bob , come on up to camp when you get a chance Tom

Great venue, not a bad seat in the house! And OMG I couldn't stop laughing! I should have brought tissues I was laughing and relating so much to his material and delivery. "Jesus Christ, It was Awesome". We went as a tribute to my Dad who passed away in July at the age of 91 and he was a huge fan. Hope he does another New England tour next year because we will be back.

I have seen Bob a number of times, and I brought a friend who had never seen him in person...I think this was one of the best shows I have seen him do...We both laughed through the whole show...He is awesome!!!!!...Also, I do love the Franco Center..It's a perfect venue for seeing him....I hope he comes here again soon....

I love Bob Marley! Very much enjoyed his act. This was the first time seeing him live. He was a little more raunchy than ever which I tend to steer away from, but he was hysterical. The venue had good seating and view. However, it was so HOT in the theater, people were sweating and falling asleep from the HEAT. Shame on you, Palace. What were we paying for? Took away from the experience for sure. Not sure I'd go back if I expected this again!

I went with two of my sisters and we had the best time at that show. We laughed the whole time Bob was on that stage. Just the faces he made and the contortions he pulled were so so funny. That was the best money I've ever spent on a show in my entire life. I am the female version of him (but of course to a much lesser extent) so my sisters and I we're not totally shocked by any of the crazy things he has done or said 😁

The venue’s chairs were too small and very close together. Had to sit still as the arms of the guest next to me were touching mine. Very uncomfortable! Chairs were very uncomfortable as well. Bob Marley never disappoints! My 4th time seeing his comedy show. I’ll watch his future schedule for new shows and definitely purchase tickets. However, I’ll check the venue to make sure it’s acceptable!

I may be biased since I am from Maine but Bob Marley is naturally one of the funniest comedians around. I love it when he starts talking about his relatives and having to host holiday parties. When we left the club last night we all said the same thing: our faces hurt from laughing so hard. Uncle Bobby is, and always will be, the best!

We saw Bob in Plymouth this past Sunday and besides being late starting the show he was hilarious. I thought my 38 yr old son was going to have an asthma attack he was laughing so hard. I wished he had stayed on longer as I had read somewhere that his shows were typically an hour and 1/2. But we loved his comedy and only wish we had sat closer so we could enjoy his facial expressions too. Cathy Guadagnoli

Bob always gives an amazing show! He is hilarious and so relatable. I was disappointed with the lack of information for the venue. It said to bring a lawn chair. It didn’t say whether there would be good or drink, or whether you could bring your own. That was confusing. The show itself was a winner!!

Love this guy!! He always makes me laugh out loud. I appreciate that he’s very funny without being raunchy or nasty, like so many other comedians. Using his family as material is hysterical! Uncle Jerry and Aunt Theresa are hilarious! Thank you, Bob Marley for making us laugh in this tough world, you’re the best! 👍🏼😂👏🏼

Love it! My wife went ass over tea kettle when her chair broke at the theater. It's funny you mention that phase during your act. She's a little sore today but she'll be okay. The theater should fix those chairs I seen the second one break right in front of us during the show.

I attended the Sunday April 24 show at the Clambake. I attended because of seeing his clips on You Tube which were funny and made me feel that as a human he was compassionate and caring. Probably that truly is the case, but his inability to connect with the audience lacked a genuine quality. It did seem that his routine was overly exaggerated and that he couldn't wait for it to be over. I am sure that probably it does become routine, but it shows. His quick departure at the end is almost rude. Would it really hurt to maybe shake a few hands of people that looked forward to seeing this man? I realize his ability to be funny, but I'll stick to his free postings on You Tube and never spend $160. to see his live shows.
