About The Spill
The Spill
The SPILL is the new solo project of Galway-based singer/songwriter and guitarist Colm Brennan, a genre-fluid rock record that spans country rock, classic rock, folk rock and contemporary rock with occasional pop, jazz, blues and bluegrass colours — touchstone reference points the artist cites include Dickey Betts, Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits, the Eagles, and Rory Gallagher, plus a James Taylor/Van Morrison-shaped melodic sensibility across the softer material.
Contemporary influences include artist/bands such as Kings of Leon, Marcus King and John Mayer.
The forthcoming debut album Time for Leavin’ will be the project's first official release; with lead-singles Hear Me Now, City Lights,Woman Like You and Time For Leaving.
The first Single Hear Me Now will be released in early July.
