New York-based King Grief delivers shoegaze and alternative dream noise into a darker, heavier sonic space — somewhere between melodic haze and beautiful destruction. Guitars bleed into one another, drums hit with weight, and the songs live somewhere between the hypnotic and the abrasive.

Built around the songwriting of guitarist/vocalist Chris Stoddard, King Grief is Devin Solar on drums, Emil Fernandez on guitar and Kevin Harris on bass.

The band released their debut single, “In Blue,” in September 2025, followed by “Violet, The Destroyer” on June 25, 2026. Both tracks mark the beginning of a sound that is heavy without losing its atmosphere, melodic without losing its teeth.

King Grief is currently gearing up for the release of their debut EP and preparing to bring the noise to the stage.
