Rico Setiabudi

Rico Setiabudi is a Singaporean singer-songwriter whose musical roots trace back to age five, when he began performing as a gong player in a competitive Dikir Barat group for several years.

Possessing a lifelong passion for singing, Rico transitioned into songwriting with his debut composition, "Bisikan Hati." The track served as the original soundtrack for a Suria telemovie and earned a nomination for Best Theme Song at Pesta Perdana 2017.

Rico gained international recognition when he represented Singapore in Madrid, Spain, placing as a Top 8 contestant in the global talent competition Aim2Fame. He officially launched his professional singing career in 2018, rapidly establishing himself across Singapore’s live music and broadcast scenes.

His credentials include signature performances at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and frequent appearances on Mediacorp Suria, where he earned 1st runner-up in the televised singing competition Kaki Nyanyi.

A familiar presence on local television, Rico has featured in major broadcast specials including Sinar Lebaran, Singapura Live 4.0, Raya Akustika, and Manja. He remains an active force in the music industry, consistently writing, recording, and releasing new original music.
