Dj Yvette Lindquist

Yvette was born in Sweden in 1982 and grew up in harbouring her dream to work with and share her love for music. This has inspired and led her to come to London in 2005. Having always had an avid interest in music and dance, Yvette decided to follow her inspiration and start producing music. Subsequently in 2007, following 2 years of producing, she taught herself how to convey her love and feelings through music and sounds by teaching herself how to DJ. After just 9 months, she landed her first gig in a small club in Brazil/ Maringa, which led to many more bookings in the cities of Londrina and Presidente Prudente/Sao Paulo. After Brazil, Yvette returned to London in 2010 and had her very first gig for Smartie Partie, where she also acquired her first residency in the city, and played for them at Area, Lightbox and club Warehouse in North London. Yvette became, without doubt, one of London's fastest rising female DJs, holding several residencies across London, playing for big brands and clubs. She is now a prolific figure on the London Gay scene, playing for many different nights at venues such as Booster, Kiki, Soho House (Mint/Girl Action), Cafe de Paris (G3 magazine), Green Carnation (Code), Shoreditch House, 93 Feat East and The Groucho Club. She is playing at international parties, such as Hamburg Pride, Norway Pride, Stereo club Bordeaux France, Spyce bar Paris, Peacock Dinner Club Sweden, and seeing her name become a global phenomenon. The news of her talent has also spread across the mainstream clubbing scene, showcasing her diversity by playing at Pacha (Main Floor and Global Room), for Hed Kandi and Kinky Malinki also Egg Club, The Brickhouse, Public Life, Beduin Bar, The Den, and Thirst Bar, just to name a few. She did not just stop there, she carried on her journey by wanting to learn further and develop her skills in sharing her love for music. As a result, she moved to Marbella where she got offered the opportunity to excel in her talent by playing for well recognised brands/clubs such as Nikki Beach, Ocean Club, Olivia Valere as well as smaller clubs within that area, and also playing in big cities as Barcelona and Granada. Having fulfilled her journey in Spain and now equipped with the tools she needed to share and develop her talent further, Yvette felt ready to move back to one of the biggest city in Europe in order to apply what she has acquired to a more vast and diverse crowd in London. As soon as she landed in London, her path led her to work in places that she has always dreamed of mostly within the Gay scene. This has enabled her to excel her passion for music in the biggest brands such as Orange Nation. She is now holding a resident in AM after hours and also doing guest gigs for Beyond at Fire, which is now at Ministry of Sound, and Orange the legend Gay brand after hours. Yvette is always looking to further her talent, skills, love, passion and desire to excel in sharing her experiences and emotions through her music. Promoters and party-revellers alike both comment on the evident burning passion and enjoyment Yvette exudes as she plays to her audience, losing herself in the music yet helping the public to find the same feeling she has for music. Yvette's style is, like her journey, eclectic. It's uplifting and deep. It's tech and progressive. It's soulful and latin, funky and vocal.
