Jackson Petty

Jackson Petty is a singer-songwriter from Bryan, Texas, blending the storytelling roots of Texas country and Americana with the raw, personal feel of modern indie folk. Raised around the music and creative community of Downtown Bryan, Jackson has built his sound playing local stages, open mics, First Fridays, and wherever there’s a room willing to listen.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Willie Nelson, and the generations of Texas songwriters who came before him, Jackson gravitates toward honest songs, acoustic guitars, and the connection that happens when a song finds the right room.

Currently a student at Texas A&M University, Jackson is continuing to write, perform, and find his own place in the Texas singer-songwriter tradition — while taking the music wherever life takes him next.
