Alexi 8bit

Alexi 8bit is a German-American multi-instrumentalist musician and producer based in Austin, TX with a sound best described as “heartfelt indie pop.” With her compelling voice and sturdy keyboard, the jazz-inspired pop artist performs solo at lounges and other intimate venues to bring vulnerable and empowering music to her audience. She performs with her full ‘8bit band’ at bars and music venues around Austin. Alexi produced and released her debut EP Dressed in Blue in October of 2022, described by The Austin Chronicle as "a time capsule of her own creative metamorphosis," "diving deeper into her artistry with gliding chord progressions and warm, arcing vocals." She most recently released her second EP Softy in May 2024, which has been received with open arms by the dedicated following she has gained through her two years as a solo musician in the Austin music scene. As described by Jack Anderson on KUTX 98.9’s Song of the Day program, “Softy goes hard.”
