Shadow Fen

Shadow Fen are a myth-infused apocalyptic power metal band forged in the Fenlands surrounding Peterborough. According to the lore, they are the last surviving guardians of a shattered Mirror Realm, a dark reflection of our world created to imprison an ancient evil known as the Dark King. Disguised as musicians, the guardians channel ancient magick through modern sound. Every show is more than a performance. It is a ritual.

Formed in 2025, the band wasted no time. Debut single Vanguard landed in July 2025, Victory Brew followed in early 2026, and their third release The Battle of Shadow Fen arrived in July 2026, complete with a cinematic music video filmed on location at a real medieval church in Wolfhampcote. Each track deepens a fully realised mythology with its own lore, its own world, and an ever growing fanbase known as the Vanguard.

Live, Shadow Fen are just as formidable. Winners of the Battle Royale Band competition in Stamford, they have played the Cambridge Junction, Strawberry Fair, and most recently battled their way to the Metal 2 the Masses Grand Final at Club 85 in Hitchin.
