Mid Sentence

"It all started in Ian Stutzman's Conshohocken basement in 2023 with a drumkit, a few of Brian Ulrich's guitars, a vocal mic, and the DIY spirit. From the outset, Mid Sentence has always aimed to deliver the versatility, intensity, and honesty of indie & punk rock. When Jeff Ross and Shawn Cox came along, they brought their influences of blues, jazz, and rock in tow to keep the supply of hard-hitting hooks, lush instrumentals, and catchy melodies flowing. In 2025, the band released their debut album Please Be There When I Come Home, with singles "Worker's Comp" and "Not Your Fault" delivering the punchiness you'd expect, while still committing to an ambient, spacious, and vulnerable atmosphere. Mid Sentence is returning to the studio in September 2026 to record their upcoming EP, scheduled to be released at the end of the year."
