Formed in January 2024, BonSim is a four-piece rock band from the Kanto region, consisting of members aged 19.
While each member was active in their high school light music clubs, they met at a live house and launched BonSim.
Immediately after forming, they began posting live performance videos with lyrics on social media and applying for auditions, eventually winning the “School's Out” high school band contest hosted by Studio Penta in August 2024.
At “Senko Riot 2025,” they advanced to the third round of live auditions and electrified the venue with their high-energy performance.
Armed with song arrangements that draw on each member’s musical roots, vocalist/guitarist Rui’s distinctive, resonant voice—which retains its depth even with distortion—and performances that fully engage the audience on stage, they are steadily increasing their live show attendance.
