paloé

paloé (pal-low-way) is an american singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. born and raised in southern new jersey, the 20-year-old artist is known so far for her genre-blending sound rooted in boom bap rap, lo-fi hip hop, and indie pop. drawing influence from artists like noname, little simz, and rapsody. paloé crafts music that reflects her unique identity and experiences. she began her musical journey in 2024 with the release of her debut ep, semicolonavenue. with MadDave, a project that explores themes around mental health. the ep gained notable traction, earning over 35k streams on spotify alone aligned with her recent ep, two honest., having its honestly & reliability also on the latter with a more lofi tone. paloé delivers her music with a raw-asserted tone, emotionally charged, sometimes unconventional to dance to, but challenging the idea that vulnerability can't move bodies. that norm has to be broken at some point... right?

since then, she has steadily grown a small, but dedicated, authentic audience, whom she affectionately calls “earthlings”, through daily creative content on social media and by organizing local open mics. since diving into her music career in July 2023, paloé has emerged as a rising voice within trans and queer communities, using her platform to uplift and represent her marginalized groups navigating mental health struggles with her music.
