Undrowned

I've been playing in bands my whole life, ever since I was 17—as a founder, co-leader, or simply as a musician. Like so many others, I started out with punk rock, moved on to more metal-influenced stuff, then hardcore punk, then dark pop, electro-goth rock, Celtic metal, even medieval music. My greatest musical adventure began when I started playing as a live musician for a German rock band called Haudegen in 2010. I played more than 150 shows with this band over the next six years, often in sold-out venues and in front of audiences of several thousand. We played at Summerbreeze, With Full Force and Wacken, live on TV and appeared a few times on a comedy show hosted by a well-known artist.
The time was long overdue for a real metal project of my own. So many influences, but they weren’t the kind of music I’d been listening to my whole life.
We’re a dark metal band. Our music meanders between death and doom elements and dark, atmospheric, melancholic passages. The brilliant crowning touch is Birgit’s dark, soulful voice.
We've recently had some promising interviews and reviews in Legacy (Germany) and Metalized (Denmark).
