Michael James

Michael James is a rising artist in the country music scene, known for his authentic storytelling and natural connection with audiences. Raised near the beach on the south shore of Long Island, his passion for country music was ignited at age 13 after attending a Kenny Chesney concert with his father—an experience that set his path in motion.

After multiple concussions brought his athletic career to an early end, Michael turned to music as a way to rediscover his purpose. At 19, he invested his savings from part-time jobs into his first guitar and taught himself to play through YouTube tutorials. That determination has since led him to share the stage with acts such as LOCASH, Josh Ross, Restless Road, and Bryce Leatherwood.

Michael’s music reflects his own life experiences, delivered with honesty and relatability, while his faith plays a central role in shaping songs that uplift and encourage. Blending heartfelt lyrics with a feel good, modern country sound, Michael James is quickly establishing himself as an artist to watch—one whose journey is only just beginning.
