About Bosparans Fall

Bosparans Fall
Bosparans Fall
Bosparans Fall was founded in 2022 as an innovative role-playing metal project. The southern German band combines powerful melodic death metal with a variety of influences from other extreme metal genres. Their unmistakable, elaborate fantasy live shows transport the audience into another world and have become a trademark of the band.
Their first release, the EP “Pantheon”, was released in 2022 and was enthusiastically received by critics and fans alike. Conceptually, Bosparans Fall is set in the world of Aventuria, the fascinating setting of the German-language pen & paper role-playing game “Das Schwarze Auge” (DSA).
In the same year, the band signed a label deal with Black Sunset/MDD Records. Their debut album “Götterspiel: Dunkle Zeiten”, released in 2023, marks the start of an epic, three-part concept series about the hero Alrik Immerda. The album was mixed and mastered at Munich's Sick of Sound studio and garnered praise for its combination of musical versatility and narrative depth.
The single “Swafnir steh’ uns bei” showcases Bosparans Fall’s hymn-like, maritime side, telling the epic journey of the Thorwalian hetman Ragnar Swafnason and his ottajasko. At the same time, the track expands the band’s narrative universe with another powerful chapter.
“Götterspiel: Namenlose Tage” marks the second installment of the trilogy, set for release in 2026, and continues the story of Alrik Immerda. Darker, grander, and more narratively dense than its predecessor, the album delves deeper into the fall of Kurkum and the spreading influence of the Borbaradians.
Musically, the band broadens its sonic spectrum, blending melodic death, pagan, and black metal into an even more intense and atmospheric soundscape.
Through their unique combination of sophisticated songwriting, immersive fantasy themes, and spectacular live performances, Bosparans Fall has quickly established itself as a notable force in the German underground metal scene—proven impressively during the Blutfest Tour 2024/2025 as support for Debauchery/Blutgott.
