About Guy Music
Guy Music
Guy Music is a power pop or "loser rock" band originating from Athens, OH. The band consists of Henry "Guy" Cohen (guitar, vocals), Finn "Music" Shannon (guitar, vocals), Miles "Band" Weaver (drums) and Matthias "Instagram" Weaver (bass).
They have given several origin stories, ranging from making artisanal ice for billionaires' ice plunge baths to a four-way meet-cute where they all butted heads and dropped their books. The truth? They'll never tell.
Guy Music prides itself on being fun and positive while never compromising the quality of the songs. They blend sincerity, ennui and humor into loud, hook-heavy rock songs. Their goal is simple: be a beam of light in an increasingly negative world while delivering music that gets stuck in your head. They love music and if you ever get to see them live, you'll see it.
