Valerio Marino

Valerio Marino's passion for music grew up in a context open to diverse styles.
In the early 2000s, with the band Egoricarica, he participated in important italian pop festivals, winning prizes and awards (the Lunezia "Giovani Autori" Award and the San Marino Festival, to name a couple), and releasing the album "Cosa ti aspetti?" .
In more recent years, he has dedicated himself to exploring the boundaries between pop music and jazz.
He attended several singing masterclasses and among these the Berklee Summer Clinics of Umbria Jazz in Perugia, under the guidance of Donna McElroy, where he was nominated for a scholarship to Berklee College in Boston.
He has participated in jazz festivals and events in central Italy and performed at prestigious italian venues.
In addition to his regular quartet, he has collaborated with pianist Alessandro Bravo, trumpeter and composer Riccardo Catria, composer and conductor Mario Corvini, and the Rieti Jazz Orchestra.
