About Lounge of the Flamingo
Lounge of the Flamingo
Lounge of the Flamingo – led by acclaimed songwriters and performers, Paris Wells and Finley François – is a sophisticated ensemble that blends lush, lounge-inspired jazz with rich rhythmic textures and elegant improvisation.
Featuring lyrics that link to life and themes of Australiana, layered upon rhythms that celebrate the multi-cultural lounge that modern-day Australia has become. Their sound draws on a broad tapestry of influences inspired by the likes of Nouvelle Vague, Astrud Gilberto and Cesária Évora.
