About Bash Tru
Bash Tru
BASH TRU are a post-punk band formed between Johannesburg and Berlin. Seb and Oz grew up in the same neighbourhood in Joburg City, wrote songs together, then moved it to Berlin . They met Kian from Galway in a Neukölln pub. Three members, South Africa and Ireland — the gap between these cities is where the music lives.
Everything is recorded live. Every cover is an original work by Norman Catherine, Johannesburg's great surrealist — they drove to his house to ask him in person.
Off My Mind — 7 August.
I pay the pain no mind.
