Muck and the Mires sound like a cross between The (1964) Beatles, The Dave Clark Five and Garage Rock bands of the early 1960s. The band is based in Boston, MA but they tour worldwide, so look for them in your town.
I first saw them on MTV when they won Little Steven's Battle of the Bands contest, and then had the pleasure of catching them live in Las Vegas at The Las Vegas Rockaround, and they were phenomenal. Their latest release is called 1-2-3-4 and is available on Dionysus Records in the US and Soundflat Records in Germany (where the group has a large following).
