Will Wright

Shreveport, Louisiana native Will Wright is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of Austin, Texas. After getting his start playing guitar in church, he went on to become a fixture in Shreveport's music scene. Will’s enjoyment of the songwriting process flourishes while playing alongside artists under the country umbrella, including Cory Cross, Red McAdam, and more. Will's own music draws from the exploration of the Bakersfield sound of the 1960s and the Texas Honky-Tonk music of today. His steel guitar weaves between Don Rich-style Telecaster lines and songwriting draws from loss and love. Will can be found on stage in the dance halls and dive bars of Texas and beyond.
