Death Row

Death Row is a deathened groove metal band originally from Yambol, Bulgaria, and currently based in Sofia.
The band performed extensively across the country, appearing at festivals such as Hills of Rock 2024, S'Cool Rock Fest in Plovdiv and Sofia (2023, 2024, 2025), PolineRock Fest, Trap Fest (2023, 2025), and many others. The group has won two songwriting competitions: Musical Accelerator 2023 and Wolf Hunt 2025.
They were the Bulgarian Finalists for the 2026 Wacken Metal Battle competition, and placed 8th in the international event in Germany, and 3rd in the online voting section.
After countless performances in clubs and bars, Death Row embarked on a nationwide tour in April 2025 to support the release of their debut album, Into Oblivion.
The band consists of:
Rosen Ivanov – vocalist and lyricist
Nikola Kralchev – bassist and composer
Gabriel Ivanov – guitarist and composer
Vasil Tatarov – drummer and composer
Preslav Vladimirov “Peri” – guitarist and composer
Founded in 2020, Death Row has developed a sound inspired by the energy and aggression of 1990s metal, combined with emotionally driven lyrical themes and songwriting.
Their debut release features eight tracks, all written and performed in English. The album was recorded almost entirely in Plovdiv at Propaganda Studio.
The band is currently on a co-headlining tour with Hellbøund as the “Into The Jumbish” OCT 2026 Tour.
